Charges
Curriculum revision work group members contribute to ASRT’s curricula by offering professional expertise and clinical insight during the review process. Responsibilities include recommending changes to curriculum content, reviewing compiled edits, and evaluating suggestions from members of the professional community.
Duties
- Research and recommend updates to the curriculum.
- Review suggestions and edits according to the revision project schedule.
- Participate in virtual work group meetings as needed with ASRT staff and work group colleagues.
Time Commitment
Work group members will serve a one-year term and should expect to spend two to four hours monthly reviewing curriculum material and responding to communication from ASRT staff. Members also might be required to participate in 2 to 3 partial-day virtual work group meetings.
Travel Commitment
There is no travel requirement to serve on Curriculum Revision Work Group.
Skills
Work group members should be knowledgeable in current and emerging trends affecting the discipline of the curriculum. The work group will consider the broad community of educators, students, and clinical R.T.s in determining the direction and scope of curriculum revisions. Members will be expected to use the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Word, work collaboratively with fellow work group participants, and meet project deadlines.
Criteria
Prospective volunteers must be ASRT members and be credentialed in the discipline of the curriculum or possess substantial experience or expertise in the field.
