Editorial Review Boards

ASRT’s two Editorial Review Boards promote and support scholarly inquiry and dissemination of information that contributes to the body of knowledge in medical imaging and radiation therapy.

Editorial Review Board members have previous experience in scholarly publishing and represent the various specialties within the radiologic sciences.

At least two Editorial Review Board members evaluate articles submitted for the peer-reviewed section of the journals. Manuscripts are reviewed using a double-blind process and according to strict standards.

Structure

Each Editorial Review Board must have no fewer than 11 members, including the chairman and vice chairman; the chief communications and membership officer and the journal’s managing editor are ex-officio members.

Editorial Review Board members are eligible for two terms of three years. The chairman and vice chairman each serve a two-year term with a limit of two consecutive terms. Exceptions to term limitations may be approved with cause.
