Radiation Control Program Offices

Each state has a radiation control agency responsible for regulating radiation-producing equipment and materials used for medical, industrial and energy purposes. The agency may or may not be responsible for regulating medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals.

More information about the roles of radiation control programs can be found on the Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors (CRCPD) website.
