With COVID-19 continuing to circulate in communities throughout the country and ongoing preventive measures still encouraged by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Society of Radiologic Technologists has made the decision to hold the 2021 Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting, June 17-20, as a virtual event.

This was not an easy decision as the ASRT Board of Directors and staff were looking forward to hosting delegates, speakers, members and distinguished guests in Reno, Nevada, this summer. The Board and staff carefully investigated a variety of options to host the meeting; however, with ongoing obstacles to travel, social distancing, crowd avoidance directives, and ASRT’s desire to keep attendees and staff safe, an in-person meeting is not possible this year. 

Thank you ASRT members, for your time and patience as the Society pivots toward planning for a successful virtual meeting. The ASRT Board and staff are grateful for your commitment to ASRT and the profession. ASRT will provide more information about the virtual Symposium and annual meeting as it becomes available.
