FAQ Institutional Products

• Can I project the modules in my classroom using a personal computer?

  Yes! The modules can be used on a computer with any of the popular web browsers and projected for your class to see. The institutional license also allows you to upload the content to a learning management system or to save the modules on computers or a private server used at your facility.

• How will I receive the modules?

  Download Version: You will download the entire product directly to your device.
  CD/DVD Version: You will receive a CD or DVD package in the mail.

• How long can I use the series after I purchase it?

  As part of the institutional/educational purchase, you will receive a license of unlimited use of the entire series.

• What format is the file?

  The module files are in HTML format. They can be viewed using any of the popular web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari. If your Learning Management System requires SCORM files, we can provide one SCORM version of the purchased modules. The courses will be published in SCORM 1.2 with the completion criteria based on 100% slide views. According to our policy, we do not provide customization of the course or completion criteria. • Can I use the modules in a learning management system such as Blackboard or WebCT?

  Yes, you should be able to post the modules to learning management systems. Although institutional products are designed to be compatible with most Learning Management Systems, ASRT does not guarantee its compatibility with all LMSs, and is not responsible for customizing this product to suit the requirements of individual institutions. Please contact your LMS provider for assistance uploading content to your platform. The institutional license also allows you to save the content to any number of computers or to a private server at your site.

• Can the modules be shared with other facilities within my institution?

  The institutional license allows the modules to be used by one location. Use of the content by other facilities would incur additional fees. For corporate pricing options for use by multiple sites, please email onlinece@asrt.org or call 800-444-2778, Ext. 1082.

• Are the modules worth continuing education credit?

  No. If you would like to take the modules for CE credit, you can purchase the credit versions in the ASRT Store.
