• Institution Providers

  Institution Providers are health care institutions that provide CE activities attended only by employees of that institution.

  The following health care institutions may apply for a providership or are included under the agreement:

  • Hospitals, clinics, medical centers or physicians’ offices that deliver direct patient care. These institutions provide educational activities for the employees, students and other individuals who work for, or are paid by, the institution including temporary, locum tenens, contract employees or medical professionals with privileges at the institution.
  • Satellite facilities owned by the health care institution and located in the same geographic area or state such as urgent care centers, outpatient clinics, imaging centers or attached physicians’ offices.

  NOTE: Each submission is a single live lecture activity up to 2 hours long. Submissions longer than 2 hours are charged 2 tokens.

  Not Allowed Under the Institution Provider Agreement:

  • Activities offered to nonemployees must be submitted with the appropriate processing fee. Allowing attendance of nonemployees and not providing them documentation of attendance violates the institution provider agreement.
  • Self-learning activities are not eligible.

• General Sponsors

  General sponsors are corporations, businesses, associations, individuals and health care institutions that provide CE to nonemployees or anyone who wishes to pay per activity.

  Individual chapters from published textbooks with an International Standard Book Number (ISBN) can be submitted for approval. For more details please visit the Activity Information page under Self-Learning.

• Corporate Provider

  A Corporate Provider is a sponsoring organization or individual that pays a single fee in advance to submit activities throughout the prepaid term. The fee structure is based on a $150 one-year approval of a live activity or self-learning activity up to three hours in length.

• ASRT Affiliate Societies

  ASRT affiliate societies have a valid charter agreement and share a common mission and purpose with the ASRT. Affiliates provide services for their members, such as conferences, grass-roots networking, social networking, leadership opportunities, advocacy and community awareness in support of local medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals.

  
  

  Getting started with your affiliate CE submission:

  • Read all CE sponsor information. Pay special attention to “Maintaining Records and Certificate Requirements”.
  • Log in to the RFA portal using your ASRT member login credentials. Once in your RFA portal, select your affiliate society in the dropdown list for “Select a Company – Sponsor Type”. If your affiliate society is not listed, contact [email protected] for assistance before proceeding.
  • To submit a request for approval for more than one lecture (such as your annual meeting or conference), select the “Add A New Seminar” button.
  • After receiving the CE approval letter for your activity, finalize your certificate and send a copy of the final certificate to [email protected] for review.
