  • Educational Product Refunds

    Online Education Products

    The ASRT does not accept returns or exchanges of online education products. Because the value of online educational products rests not only in the CE credits earned, but with the information contained within the product, continuing education products in any format cannot be refunded or exchanged once purchased. Samples are available for many of our online educational products to help you make an informed purchasing decision. If you do not see a sample available online, please call 800-444-2778 to request a sample before purchasing the product.

    Hybrid Products

    The ASRT accepts cancellations of memberships purchased alongside CE products. We will refund an amount equal to the difference between the cost of the membership and the nonmember price of items purchased at the same time as the membership. Refunds are applied within 30 days.

    Physical Products

    The ASRT accepts returns or exchanges of physical products within 60 days of purchase. Please call 800-444-2778 to initiate the refund or exchange process. We will replace or issue a full refund plus shipping costs for all items damaged during shipping that are returned with a shipping receipt within 60 days of purchase. For undamaged or unused items returned within 60 days, we will apply a restocking fee of $5 or 20 percent of the invoice total, whichever is greater. Shipping costs are not covered for return of undamaged items. Refunds are applied within four to six weeks based on your method of payment.

    Only items that have been purchased directly from the ASRT Store are eligible to be returned. Opened software is not eligible to be returned. All products must be returned in reasonable condition without wear or damage. ASRT reserves the right to deny any return if it fails to meet the Return Policy conditions.


  • ASRT Live Webcast Refunds

    Directed Reading Flex Plan™ Members

    Members who have chosen the DR Flex Plan™ can cancel their webcast registration at any time prior to the webcast. To cancel, visit your DR Flex Plan™ library, sign into your account, find the webcast for which you are registered and click “Unenroll”. Or you can call Member Services at 800-444-2778 and one of our representatives can cancel your registration.

    If you are unable to attend the webcast, your DR Flex Plan™ CE credit bank will not be reduced as long as you do not complete the survey at the end of the webcast.

    Members or Nonmembers Who Purchased Access to a Webcast

    If you purchased access to a webcast and would like to cancel your registration prior to the webcast, please call our Member Services team at 800-444-2778.

    Webcast registration fees cannot be refunded once CE credit is recorded. If for some reason you are unable to attend the webcast, please call our Member Services department at 800-444-2778 and we will help you register for another live webcast, or provide store credit towards another learning activity.

    Refunds cannot be issued if you have completed the survey at the end of the webcast to receive CE credit for the event. If you have not completed the survey, please allow seven days after the webcast before requesting a refund. Refunds cannot be processed until seven days after the webcast.

    In the rare event that a webcast is cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer their registration to another live webcast or receive store credit.


  • Membership Refunds

    The ASRT will issue refunds for memberships canceled within 30 days after the membership application or renewal is processed. A $15 processing fee will be deducted from the refund, as well as the $10 application fee and any secondary chapter fees. The value of CE credits completed from Directed Reading articles during the membership period will be deducted from the refund. Calculation of completed CE credits will be based on a $10-per-credit value. The refund will not exceed the price of the membership.


  • Request for Approval (RFA) Refunds

    The ASRT does not offer refunds for any RFA that has been reviewed. Refunds are not offered for denied activities. The $5 per-credit fee is nonrefundable. A $45 handling fee will be deducted from refunds issued for an RFA that has been received but is withdrawn by its sponsor before our review. If there is a difference between the requested credit amount and the approved credit amount for a self-learning activity, the difference in the RFA fee will be refunded or additional payment may be needed. Overpayments of $10 or less will not be refunded unless requested. Priority handling, or rush fees, are not refundable.


  • Conferences and Event Refunds

    The ASRT accepts cancellations of event registration if submitted at least 30 days before the first day of the event. Refunds will be issued based on your original method of payment, and a 25% cancellation fee will be deducted. To transfer your event registration to another person, the ASRT must be notified of the transfer request in advance of the event. A $50 transfer fee will apply. To transfer or cancel your registration, send a letter to ASRT Member Services, 15000 Central Ave. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87123-3909 or email memberservices@asrt.org. Full refunds will be issued if the event is cancelled. The ASRT accepts no responsibility and offers no reimbursement for airfare or other expenses incurred by participants.
