Socks for a Cause
Back by Special Request!

Last year, due to the generosity of ASRT staff and conference attendees, we donated over 2,000 pairs of socks to the Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission. This year, we are partnering with The Mustard Seed of Central Florida and when they heard about the overwhelming response to last year’s Socks for a Cause, they requested socks, too!

So, Socks for a Cause is back this year! As you pack for your trip to Orlando, please consider also packing some new socks (all kinds and sizes accepted). Let’s surpass last year’s success and make an impact in another community!

Reception and Pin Exchange in the ASRT Expo

June 27, 6-8 p.m.

For more than 20 years, attendees have enjoyed the Reception and Pin Exchange. This popular tradition involves members of affiliate societies swapping commemorative lapel pins featuring their states. Join hundreds of radiologic technologists from across the country at this fun, kick-off event.

Honors Evening

June 28, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The Honors Evening, one of the highlights of the ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting, acknowledges distinguished members for their service and dedication to ASRT and the radiologic sciences. A reception follows the ceremony.

Meet Michael Benzaia, the spokesperson for the ASRT Be Seen campaign!

ASRT member Michael Benzaia, R.T.(R)(CT), is a radiologic technologist and actor and has more than 15 years of experience in the medical imaging profession. His experience as an actor and caring for patients has helped him make his onscreen roles convincing in shows like “General Hospital,” “Law & Order” and the current ASRT Be Seen campaign. Michael will attend the ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting. You can catch his talk at the ASRT Update or at the ASRT booth on Friday, June 29.
