• Retrieve your username or reset your password

  1. Select Forgot Password in the upper-right corner of the ASRT homepage. You will be directed to the Login Assistance page.

      

  2. On the Login Assistance page, choose either Forgot Username or Forgot Password.

      

  3. A drop-down menu will then appear. Select a way to identify yourself and specify that information in the field to the right of the drop-down menu, then choose the Continue button.

      

  4. Using the information that you provided, we will send you an email that will provide a temporary link. Please note that the link will remain active for only 30 minutes, so if you don’t complete the retrieval process within that time you’ll need to start over at Step 1.
     • If we have your email address on file, the message can be sent to that address by clicking on “Send email,” or you may specify a different address.

        

  5. The link in the email will direct you to a page where you will be asked to answer two security questions so we can confirm who you are:

     It's easy to recover your ASRT username. You'll need to: Use the lin below to open a secure browser window. Correctly answer security questions to confirm that you are the owner of the account. Recover your username now.

     • If you have not previously selected your security questions, we will ask two questions related to information currently in your record so that you can proceed.
  6. You will not be locked out if you do not answer your questions successfully at first so you may try again.

     Unfortunately, one or both of the answers that you provided are incorrect. Please try again with the questions below. You may also call our Member Services team at 800-444-2778.

  7. Once you have successfully answered the security questions you will be shown your username or prompted to enter and confirm a new password, depending on which button you selected previously.
  • The password is case-sensitive and must be between 4 and 16 characters.
  • You may use any combination of alphanumeric or these special characters: @ ! # * $ % ^

• Set up security questions

  If you have not already set up security questions, upon logging in successfully you will be prompted to select four separate questions and the answers for each. These are the questions that will be asked if you need to retrieve your username or reset your password in the future, so be sure to select questions and provide answers that you will remember.

  • You will only need to do this one time.
  • Special characters such as ! or ‘ in the answers will be ignored, and your answers are not case-sensitive.
