Sylvia has injured her arm. Her doctor has sent her to Radiology to get what Sylvia thinks is a “stupid x-ray.” She is worried, frightened and finds the idea of people looking “all inside her body” very creepy.

Her brother, Carlo doesn't help the situation when he suggests radiation will turn her into some kind of mutant. This begins to change when she meets Angela, a radiologic technologist who does her best to allay Sylvia's fears.

Join Sylvia, Angela and Carlo as they meet Wilhelm Roentgen, the discoverer of x-rays. Come along as he guides them through the Hall of Medicine, exploring the electromagnetic spectrum and into the realms of computed tomography, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and radiation therapy. Follow our intrepid adventurers as they learn about the science of these fascinating technologies and the vital importance of the frontline heroes who run these incredible machines, the radiologic technologists. It is sure to be a most excellent adventure!
