OK Licensure Bill Introduced

Oklahoma state senator and radiologic technologist Paul Scott, R.T.(R), of Duncan, Oklahoma, has introduced Senate Bill 782. The bill aims to create licensure standards for radiologist assistants and radiologic technologists in the state.

Scott is the owner of Sooner Mobile X-ray, a statewide provider of medical imaging services to nursing homes, physicians’ offices and jails. He was elected to the state senate in 2016.

On second reading, the bill has been referred the Oklahoma Senate Health and Human Services Committee.
