Legislative Review
A new resource to help affiliates and individuals learn about advocacy campaigns has been created by the ASRT. Chapter 1 of the Advocacy Guidebook, which provides information on legislative and regulatory processes and how standards are enforced, is now available for your reading pleasure.
Ever wonder what a radiologist assistant does? Read about one day in the life of an RA and get a glimpse into this growing career path.
Legislative and regulatory activities affecting radiologic technologists have been very strong in 2016. Read about some of the challenges affiliates have faced and the successes they have experienced.
Take action and send a letter to your representative in Congress. Ask him or her to cosponsor H.R. 4614, the Medicare Access to Radiology Care Act of 2016. It should only take a couple of minutes of your time. Go to the ASRT Advocacy Action Center. And thank you for taking the time to do this!
