ASRT Leaders Connection: Governance, Government Relations, Affiliate Update
The new year offers a great opportunity to embrace change and set goals for the coming year. Setting goals or offering changes for the business of our profession is done in the form of a motion. Motions will be reviewed and discussed prior to the final vote in the House of Delegates at our annual conference in June. This issue is full of information to keep all of the ASRT leaders connected as we enter another year.

Get ready to vote in the 2017 ASRT Election! Polls will be open Feb. 9 through March 2. Get to know the candidates running for national officer and chapter delegate positions by reading their profiles and position statements. Watch the officer candidate election interview videos where they answer questions. You can ask candidates questions important to you in the ASRT Election Community. Who will get your vote?
Save the date. The 2017 ASRT Educational Symposium is June 22, at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Take courses in computed tomography, general education, management and women’s imaging. Don’t miss this exciting in-person educational and networking opportunity. Be sure to include the symposium in your budget and make plans to join us on Thursday in Orlando!
