The ASRT seeks members with medical dosimetry credentials interested in sharing their professional expertise on the ASRT Practice Standards Council.

The ASRT member selected for this volunteer position will, among other duties, provide guidance on emerging practice trends as well as promote the practice standards among the profession. Each council member serves as chair of a Practice Standards Council subcommittee.

Practice Standards Council members are appointed by the ASRT Board of Directors as representatives for the 12 disciplines and specialties recognized by the ASRT House of Delegates. Primary responsibilities include reviewing scope of practice and practice standards, recommending changes or additions to be approved by the House of Delegates and developing opinions through the advisory opinion statement process.
