These ASRT Foundation scholarships are provided thanks to individuals and corporations who understand the importance of highly skilled radiologic technologists and the power of education to create a brighter future.

ASRT Fellows Scholarship

Funded by: donations from ASRT members and staff

Purpose: to support medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals with long-standing ASRT and affiliate society membership who have demonstrated professional involvement on the local or national level

Bob Cassling Memorial Scholarship

Funded by: Cassling, in memory of Bob Cassling

Purpose: to support medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals working in rural areas and pursuing an academic degree or obtaining an additional certification

Elekta Radiation Therapy Scholarship

Funded by: Elekta

Purpose: to support entry-level students enrolled in a radiation therapy program

Elio “Leo” DelVecchio Scholarship

Funded by: Michael DelVecchio, B.S., R.T.(R), FASRT, in memory of Elio “Leo” DelVecchio

Purpose: to support medical imaging professionals pursuing an academic degree

Hente Fellows Scholarship

Purpose: to support entry-level students pursuing medical imaging, with preference given to students from Missouri

James and Stephanie Johnston Journey Scholarship

Purpose: to support medical imaging professionals who are pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree to further their careers as educators or managers

Jerman-Cahoon Student Scholarship

Funded by: donations from ASRT members and staff, in honor of Edward Jerman and John Cahoon

Purpose: to support entry-level students in a radiography, sonography, magnetic resonance or nuclear medicine program

Jorge A. Casañas Scholarship

Purpose: to support entry-level students in achieving a primary certification in medical imaging

Joy and Jordan Renner Educator Scholarship

Funded by: Joy and Jordan Renner

Purpose: to support professional medical imaging educators who have given back to the profession by means of volunteer service and who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher

Marie L.A. Racine Scholarship

Memorial Scholarship
