Additional Scholarship Resources

Many of our affiliates and other professional societies offer scholarships for radiologic technologists and radiation therapists. The ASRT Foundation is proud to be part of such a generous community working together to ensure students have the tools and resources they need to achieve their educational dreams and professional goals.

  • AAMD Foundation Scholarship Awards - AAMD Foundation Student Scholarship applications are now available to AAMD members who are in good standing and who are enrolled in a JRCERT-accredited program.
  • Alabama Society of Radiologic Technologists - The ALSRT offers a scholarship program to students and technologists, as well as student essay and exhibit competitions.
  • Alaska Society of Radiologic Technologists - The AKSRT offers a $500 student grant to affiliate student members each year.
  • California Society of Radiologic Technologists - The CSRT offers grants to affiliate student members.
  • Center For Radiology Education - Center for Radiology Education is offering scholarships to students pursuing programs in diagnostic medical sonography, radiologic technology, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine or radiation therapy.
  • Fastweb - Fastweb is the leading online resource in finding scholarships to help students pay for school.
  • Indiana Society of Radiologic Technologists - The ISRT offers entry- and professional-level scholarships each year to student and technologist members.
  • Kansas Society of Radiologic Technologists - The KSRT offers one entry-level and one professional-level scholarship each year to current KSRT members.
  • Kids' Chance of California - Kids’ Chance of California is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides need-based scholarships to students whose parents were seriously or fatally injured on the job. We support students pursuing any field of study, including radiologic technology and other healthcare professions, and want to ensure that students, educators, and guidance counselors in these programs know this resource exists. Our mission is to reduce financial strain so students can stay focused on their education and long-term goals rather than the impact of a workplace injury at home. Kids’ Chance was founded nationally in 1988 and now operates in all 50 states, with the California chapter established in 2012. Eligible students can learn more and apply through our website.
  • Massachusetts Society of Radiologic Technologists - The MSRT offers scholarship opportunities each year to student and technologist members.
  • Michigan Society of Radiologic Technologists - The MSRT offers at least two scholarships each year tor second- year students enrolled in ARRT- and JRCERT-recognized radiologic science programs.
  • Minnesota Society of Radiologic Technologists - The MSRT offers one entry-level and one professional-level scholarship each year to qualifying affiliate members.
  • North Carolina Society of Radiologic Technologists - NCSRT offers scholarships each year to entry-level and post-primary students in the radiologic sciences.
  • Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists Foundation - The OSRT Foundation offers grant opportunities each year to student and technologist members.
  • SNMMI Grants, Awards and Scholarships - SNMMI and SNMM-TS offer numerous scholarship and award programs every year to student and technologist members.
  • UNC School of Medicine - The University of North Carolina offers multiple scholarships each year to students in the radiologic science program.
  • Virginia Society of Radiologic Technologists - The VSRT offers multiple scholarships each year to students in radiologic science programs.

Advancing Your Profession: Education and Professional Growth Grants

In partnership with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the ASRT Foundation will oversee the Affiliate Membership Educational Grant program, awarding up to $500 to at least one recipient per active affiliate each year as reimbursement for the cost of continuing education, educational conferences or products, or ARRT primary or secondary certification exams.
