Thanks to the support of ASRT Foundation donors, radiologic technologists have taken nearly 140 high-impact trips to locations around the world since 2020 as part of ASRT Foundation programs.

Your Generosity Around the World

The Foundation manages a variety of programs that give technologists the opportunity to make a difference in locations across the globe. This would not be possible without our donors’ belief in our mission.

Through a partnership with RAD-AID International, the Foundation supports technologists to travel to medically underserved regions and improve health care through education. Since 2020, nearly 100 technologists have participated in the program and provided education and training in 20 countries.

Our donors’ philanthropic support has also helped fund the ASRT Foundation International Speakers Exchange Award. Over the past five years, this award has sent 10 recipients to international conferences to give presentations to an audience of their peers and other related health care professionals. The United Kingdom Imaging and Oncology Congress and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists each hosted four recipients, and this year, for the first time, ASRT sent a member to the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy National Conference.

In addition, the Foundation manages the Weber State University School of Radiologic Sciences Student Global Engagement Scholarship, Siemens Healthineers Education Journey Award and ASRT Foundation Travel Grant. Thanks to our generous donors, these programs have supported nearly 30 educational trips in the past five years to destinations in the United States, Australia, England and Germany.
