The ASRT Foundation has awarded 118 one-year ASRT memberships to first-time student members through its Sponsor a Student Grant program. This is the highest number of grant recipients awarded since the program began. The grant is funded with donations from individual ASRT members to highlight the value of membership in the association whose long-held mission is to advance and elevate the medical imaging and radiation therapy profession and enhance quality, safe patient care.
ASRT student members will gain access to helpful resources such as study tools, practice exams, career planning tools and advisors who help prepare individuals for the certification exam. Recipients must be an entry-level student enrolled in a primary radiologic science education program and have not ever held an ASRT membership before.
Jorja Ramos, a radiography student at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and grant recipient said, “There are moments in my studies when I feel completely overwhelmed by how much there is to learn in radiography. Joining ASRT feels like a way to navigate those moments with support and guidance. It is not just about networking or professional development; it is about being part of a community that understands the challenges, celebrates progress and shares practical insights.”
Welcome to ASRT’s newest members and congratulations to the 2025-2026 recipients.
