I was inspired to become an ASRT Foundation monthly donor because I really appreciate the important work radiologic technologists and radiation therapists do to help us all be our healthiest. I also strongly believe that a good education is an important part of the foundation for a good life. Donating to the Foundation is a way for me to help our professionals start or continue their educations and keep on helping us all. The return on the investment of donations isn’t as easily measured as the return from a stock portfolio. However, the return is evident in the responses of Foundation scholarship recipients. You can’t go wrong investing in people dedicated to helping others.

Additionally, as a member of the public and at times a patient, I want to encourage and support medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals because their work and care is critical to my health and the health of all.

I love working with the ASRT team on behalf of our medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals. It’s great to be united in moving our mission forward. By providing educational opportunities through grants and scholarships, the Foundation gives medical imaging and radiation therapy students and professionals the support to be self-sufficient and help others.
