Operation Sock Drop — it’s not just about socks!

It’s more than a donation drive—it’s a chance to make a real difference.

For the past few years, ASRT attendees have shown the power of generosity by giving back to the communities that host our June Annual Meeting. From Orlando to Reno to Albuquerque, attendees have helped support incredible organizations with simple, meaningful gifts—socks, teddy bears, books—that bring comfort and care to those who need it most.

Now, we’re bringing that same spirit of giving to the Radiation Therapy Conference in Boston.

Friends of Boston’s Homeless

This year, ASRT is proud to partner with Friends of Boston’s Homeless, an organization dedicated to providing essential items to individuals staying in emergency shelters and living on the streets. For someone facing harsh weather, something as simple as a warm pair of socks or gloves can mean everything—comfort, dignity and protection from the cold.

Join the effort. Make an impact.

Pack an extra item (or a few!) and drop them off at the donation bin located at the RTC registration desk.

Most-needed items (new only, please):

  • Socks (men’s and women’s)
  • Gloves
  • Hats
  • Scarves
  • Hand warmers

Boston’s colder days will arrive shortly after the conference—and your small act of kindness can help someone face them with warmth and hope.

Small items—big impact. Let’s come together and show how powerful our community can be.
